    The Beacon News is by far the most popular newspaper serving the Aurora community. First published in 1846, it is Aurora's oldest business. Like any newspaper, The Beacon News informs the community of local news and select national and world news stories. This newspaper is good about letting members of the public voice their opinions in columns, letters to the editors, and different opinion stories. Currently, The Beacon News is a daily publication owned by Sun-Times Media. It has a daily circulation of 26,897 newspapers and a Sunday circulation of 28,092 newspapers. At The Beacon News, Robert Wall is the publisher and vice president of advertising, Mike Cetera is the editorial director, and John Russel is the associate news editor.
